Much more than a shopping center, the Mayagüez Mall has served as a meeting and socialization point for the entire community of the western zone for more than 45 years. With internationally renowned anchor stores such as JC Penney, Wal-Mart, Marshall's, Old Navy, among others, the Mall currently has more than 120 stores, as well as medical, financial, government facilities, and more. Located two and a half hours from the capital, San Juan, and one hour from Ponce, Mayagüez Mall is pleased to serve more than half a million inhabitants, 30,000 of them university students.
